Invisalign Go is used to treat adult and teenage orthodontic issues ranging from very mild to moderate in severity. It is an excellent option to fix mild-moderate crowding, reducing gaps between teeth and for straightening teeth before further restorative work.
Invisalign Go is useful for:
- Pre implant spacing
- Alignment for veneers
- Alignment for crowns
- Alignment for composite and bridges
Invisalign Go works best for people who already have a class 1 molar relationship, your dentist will be able to advise on this.
How does Invisalign Go work?
Using the latest Invisalign technology the clear plastic aligners apply gentle forces to your teeth to move them into a straighter position. Invisalign Go will only move teeth from the second premolar to the second premolar (the first 10 teeth). It cannot be used in extraction cases.
How Long does it take?
With Invisalign Go results are normally seen within 3-8 months. Depending on the case, you would wear each bespoke aligner for 7-14 days before changing to the next in the series.
Invisalign Full is a comprehensive option that is used to treat moderate to severe cases.
This would include:
- Moderate to severe crowding
- Moderate to severe spacing
- Class I, II and III molar relationships
- Overjets, underjets, deep bites and open bites
- Treatments that would require teeth extractions
- Complex pre-restorative alignment such as implant spacing and alignment for veneers, crowns and bridges
